Charge / Rout Question

A fragmented unit in contact to its front is charged on the flank; fails the cohesion test. It then routs. What is the sequence and direction of rout.

1. Does the unit rout directly away from the charge? or directly away from the unit in contact, or split the angle?

2. Does the unit in contact pursue immediately(as in before the charger moves), after the charger moves? or at the end of the phase?

p 107 broken troops with enmy in contact...

So directly away from the the people in contact.

But p 100 says charged while frag'd including charging and close combat then bisect angle.

So it is clear bisect angle and charge.

p 61 the frag'd unit routs immediately before the chargers are moved.

I think then p 108 4th bullet comes into effect. Who is faster. The unit that was in contact gets a VMD the charger does not. THen who is faster and that one moves first.
