Optional Pursuit and shift sideways.

I often think it would be reasonable for Troops who are above average and over to have the choice to pursue or not. It would reflect their better training and discipline.

It would also be useful to be able to move sections sideways when shifting a line.

What do other players think?

Historically troop "quality" doesn't correlate that much with whether they tend to pursue or not (especially for cavalry). Undisciplined pursuit is very common through the history of warfare to a point where it's a rule rather than exception. Many disciplined unit types in the game already won't pursue enemy and personally I think the pursuit was toned down a bit too much when it was reduced last year.

Sideways movement shouldn't be hard to pull off even by relatively undisciplined force of any size, but for some reason it's not something I have seen in accounts of historical battles in ancient or medieval times. Gameplay-wise I doubt the effect of sideways movement would be desirable when it comes to ZOC mechanics and overall nature of maneuvering.
