What is the result if a player misses a multiplayer game turn?

After a search through the manual, I didn`t find the answer to this one, does anyone know the outcome if you miss a turn? Does the player get kicked or can they return for the next turn? I`m away for 2 days shortly and I`m involved in a 24 hour MP game.

Hey Mark, don't worry! If you miss the turn, the AI takes over during that turn. You won't get kicked from your game too and can resume when you're back. I'm not sure how many turns you can skip like that (not sure even there's a limit as haven't reached it yet), but it's definitely over 5.

The hard part seems to be to actually get out of a game. I've had two where I've surrendered twice and haven't submitted a turn in weeks and it still tells me its my turn.

I've had the same issue. It only occurs on some games though.

I'm stuck in two games right now and unsure how to permanently get out of them.
