Army Losing Combat Power

Post by Morbio »

I created some Phalanx units and moved them for 2 turns and now I find them less effective. There was no conflict, only a long march. I'm assuming this is an error?

I'd make a guess and suggest its the terrain effect on the unit stats. Open up a unit in the final image and you may well see a (-1) after the stat (or similar)

Loki, that seems to be the case, I hadn't noticed that before. Thanks for clearing up the issue.

good, glad it was an easy one. I think it stood out as you had such an unusual army (only phalanxes) whereas normally as you move across the terrain types the differences are marginal or even partially balanced as some units move into their favoured terrain while others pick up a malus of some sort
