Split and combine armies

Is there a better way to build up the troops I want into an army then splitting them out one unit at a time?

Click individually on each unit you want that is in the current army and they will all be highlighted, then click on split to create the new army.

I was hoping to find a more efficient way to set-up troops then one unit at a time.

You don't have to split them out one at a time. Just keep clicking on more units, each will be highlighted as you click. When you split, all highlighted units will split.

I think a recent update has made it possible to double-click the units and all in that box will be selected. So, say it was the medium infantry in a box, one click selects one of them, while a double click selects all of them (but not the rest of the army)
