Diplomacy

Post by Morbio »

Is there a delay in the game between an offer being made and being received? e.g. If Seleucus makes a cooperation offer to Rome on turn 4, will it be visible to Rome on turn 5 or is there some delay, perhaps to simulate a courier travelling from one country to the other?

Is the diplomacy mechanism in single-player the same as multi-player?

What would happen if 2 players in multi-player made different offers at the same time? e.g. If at the end of turn 4 Rome sends an alliance request and at the same time Seleucus makes a cooperation request, what will the system process for the 2 players?

Final off-topic question: What does OPM mean?

yes, usually 1 turn, so you send in T5, they mull it over on T6 and respond on T7 - sometimes the delay can be longer,

yes, except of course the players aren't bound by the calculated algorithms but player - AI is the same

to each other? not sure, to the same 3rd power, both will be processed as the recipient wishes
