Does have more than one needed for the Bonus give me more bonus?

Maybe this is a difference in thinking between the continent and Anglo-Saxons, does the word "bonus" mean something different on the continent? If I see that I have a base of 5 and a bonus of 5 and I fulfill the requirements for the bonus then I should get 10 (or something better than 5 at least)

issue here is that in the game a 'bonus' trade good is a particular concept, separate to one that is needed. They interact with the trading system in totally different ways.

Well it would remove all possible confusion if the region panel looked like this:

Otherwise the text "bonus of five gold from tar" should be in brackets i.e. (bonus of five gold from tar) or the text should say
"including a bonus of five gold from tar"

Maybe use a different visual cue to show totals and components, such as:

Estimated changes:
Food: 5
Money: 5 (including 5 bonus from Tar)
