Cannot see text on 4k screen

Post by Keldun »

I m not sure what has changed, i havent played for maybe a year or two and decided to reinstall today and continue my campaign but i was greeted with a screen where i could only click on the top upper left quarter of screen.
I guess it was resolution issue (I play on a 4k screen) so i deleted the file and now i can click everywhere but it seems i cannot select 1980x1080 anymore and stretch the screen to play at this resolution ( the game text and ui are unreadable in 4k ), if i do i m back to being only able to click the quarter top left of the screen only. Is there any way to make it work like before? Or anyway to stretch the ui when playing at 4k resolution?
Thank you

I found a fix using override high dpi scaling behavior, override performed by system on Order of Battle - WW2_64.exe. By default it was performed by the application. Now I can play in lower resolution again and still able to click anywhere on the screen.

Yeah, you can "solve" this issue by "Alt-Tab" out of the game and then back in.

No real UI scaling I'm aware of in this game, but as a compromise, I'm suggesting playing with 1440p resolution.
