So, i have spent all day today playing this short 15 turn tutorial as Rome.
Thing is i cant even manage to last more than 3-4 turns before My capital is taken by a giant stack from Epirus supported by Tarentum
Have to admit I'm kind of getting frustrated, i have the manual open on my second monitor trying to learn, but i am losing after only a few turns, their armies seem much much bigger than mine and i cannot build enough to match their invasion force.
Help!?
Playing the tutorial campaign (Pyrrhus) is super hard?

That is no way a tutorial campaign.
Try the walkthrough in the manual as Rome or even a grand campaign as Dacia.....much more gradual introduction.
Even the devs describe the short Epirus campaign as tough.

Thanks for pointing out the walkthrough. I had not noticed it while reading, I mean skimming through, the manual. They should have put a big STOP sign at the start of that section for people like me. I'm going to take a look at that right now.

Thanks, assumed the short 15 turn campaign was a tutorial, doing much better on the main campaign!
