The Museum ones are by far the nicest I have seen. They are huge, but no reason why you couldnt base them on 40x40 if you wanted, although mine fit on 40x30 ok.

There are 3 poses, but modification is possible to get more poses.

thanks rich, will look into it. i can see that there are two different types from different but similar ranges, so there might be more if i really snoop around.

The ones galloping fit on a 40x30 base w/ their hind legs sticking out which makes 2 ranks really trick to pull off and forget about columns. The ones standing still fit all right. Regardless, the museum miniatures camels make every single other mini I have in my Christian Nubian army look like a pigmy. Definitely close to, or even as big as 20mm.

Carlos is right there. The ones with a trailing leg are impossible to base without making 3 legged Camels. Genus=Dromedarius Tripedalus.

Doh! What a futile waste of my 100th post.

I have Essex, Old Glory and Tabletop camels. I have a feeling that there are a load of unpainted ones lying 'spare' somewhere in my games room.

superior, unprto, bw, cm... will massacre LH, and put up a short but sharp defence against other undrilled cav.

can also be used to place near knights and/or lancer cav, to f[screw] their s[stuff] up.
