I think I need a reinstall!
None of my DLCs work anymore, even though they have been installed for a couple of years except for Eindsieg, which I bought a year or so ago.
What information do you need to assist?

Re: DLCs no longer recognized
Tech Support, here's what happened:
I got frustrated because the Campaign Editor would no longer start playing scenarios after I edited the campaign, so I
Tried/retried/deleted/retried creating a campaign, using similar names, and eventually, only the word "name" would appear in the start-up menu. The other custom campaigns from Erik, Bru, were fine but the ones I tried to create were not getting new names -- just the "name" identifier.
So eventually I went into the text file associated with the campaign and changed the "name=name" line to "name=(my name)" and exited.
Now none of the DLCs will play, I can't use the editor, and I can't play multiplayer PBEM+.
Please advise what info you need to help me out of this jam.

uninstall and make sure folder is empty, then also as long as you don't need any saves, delete the docs folder for the game as well
eg Docs\My Games\Order of Battle
if you need saves, just back them up but remove the order of battle folder
then go into your support account here and download the latest version of the game installer
then just follow the guide on how to add the series to unlock the DLC's

Thanks, Zakblood!
Before I start, will I need my serial/key number?

Re: DLCs no longer recognized
Yes, you'll need the serial numbers of your DLCs, assuming that you are installing the stand alone version and not the Steam one.

von Paulus,
I am using the Steam one. I'll continue my correspondence with you there. Does the installer Zakblood was talking about not work with Steam?
Anyway, I await your response on the Steam site.

Open your Steam client, right click the "Order of Battle: Word War II" game on your Steam Library and choose "Properties". In the DLC tab are all the campaigns ticked on?
If they are ticked on, please tick them off, start the game and exit. Then tick them on, run the game and check if the issue persists.

Re: DLCs no longer recognized
Thanks, that worked, I have reinstalled it via Steam. But the problems still persist that I needed to troubleshoot.
The Campaign Editor:
1) Will not assign a name to any campaign I develop except "name". I can go in the text file and change it but why won't it automatically assign the name I gave it when starting the campaign?
2) Will not start scenarios in the editor or the regular play mode!
Does anyone have any idea how to troubleshoot these issues? I wonder if the two issues are related, because they both showed up when I tried to add some new scenarios to a campaign. I have reinstalled the OoB program, assigned various names to new campaigns, and tried several different times to start the campaign with differing scenarios that I know have played just fine previously.
thanks in advance,
conboy
