Hej Akkula, ( and team!)

all my respect to your great work, I see many other scenario's of eastfront coming by, in many games
but many miss the essentials:

your crucial details like good mapping, historical units,
the seamines, uboat-chain in finnish gulf, maxim gorky and stalin line fortresses, right names of ships and other stuff
give me the feeling you really make the REAL eastfront scenario...

I was doing a lot of work myself creating a Eastfront and Poland scenario in CIV5 RED WW2 mod,
also in detail for given every unit right names and historical starting positions... yes has been quite some research work...

I like the graphics much better than PZ, but still PZ has elements like the weather for example and more landscape
building types, the rail transport and stations which I missed so much. The new PZ 2 is solving the graphical limit for me....

We had problems with programming bugs and our main programmer was too busy with his own new company ..anyway:
my question is:

Now PZ 2 is coming I feel really to make the switch...
DO YOU PLAN/ FEEL LIKE CREATING the perfect eastfront scenario with some people?
I am willing to join

I am glad you have enjoyed the mod and the big scenario in particular. And you are right, I tried to make the campaign and the big scenario as accurate and detailed as possible.
About your question, the answer is yes. I will work in Eastern Front Soviet Storm 2 for sure, I am really excited about the new features of PzC2 and I think they will help to achieve even more detailed scenarios .

For sure it will take time, but I think the game will keep us entertained for some time while we modders figure how to create new stuff for the new game.

I got to admit I really enjoyed working on the big scenario. The Great Patriotic War was a so gigantic and epic struggle that inspired me to put as much stuff as possible in the grand scenario. Great that you find it fun.
Maybe in some future I will try to make it compatible with the game version 1.32 and add some new features, events and units. Who knows
