What do I do with Steam Key

I just bought some DLC from the Slitherine website with the D-Day discount. I found my steam key for the DLC, but don't know what to do with it. How do I get the Steam launched game to get the DLC content?

This looks like I need an installer application that is Windows based. Maybe I should have been more specific, How do I get the Steam launched game to get the DLC content on a Mac?

Nevermind, I finally found the Games menu up in the menu bar. I was looking for it in the Steam window
