Later Ottoman Starter Army

I'm just sorting out my figures for this army and noticed in Eternal Empire that the starter army lists 4 stands of Qapu Khalki but the main army list limits them to a minimum of 2 bases to a maximum of 6 bases. Anybody know which is right?

i don't have the list in front of me.. But you can have a BG of 2, 4 or 6 bases.

but the rest of the lists show bases per group such as 4-6 which woud be either 4 bases or 6 bases and the Qapu Khalki shows 2-6 which should be either 2 bases or 6 bases, unless I'm reading the lists wrong.

They are both right. The army list allows 2 to 6 bases per BG and 2-6 bases total, meaning you could have 3 BGs of 2 bases each.

The starter army provides for a single BG of 4.

This is BTW the prudent course for a first run - you need to be nimble to use the small BGs to full effect while minimizing the risk of losing a base and autobreaking. The 4 is more durable since it autobreaks when down to one base as do the 2s.

It not 2 or 6 bases.. Its between 2-6.. So 4 would be legal.
