Annex question.

I know that the AI country can terminate a Federation. However, this termination happened to me recently when I had annexed the country. i thought an annex was permanent. Am I wrong?

Once you annex a country, there is no way back, the player is terminated. He can come back to life in a civil war but it has nothing to do with breaking a federation.

It is pretty extensive question so I would suggest to read manual, section about local happiness
