Cult of Mithras downloaded but cannot play
I purchased Legion Arena through the download and it works properly. I purchased the download of CoM and it seemed to install ok. However when I click the shortcut to play CoM I get the following message: Problem with Shortcut the item 'autorun exe.' that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete this shortcut? Then there are 2 boxes with a yes or no option. I said no because I didn't to mess with anything. I tried to play through a full Roman and a full celtic campaigne to see if CoM would trigger but there is nothing. Can you please help me to get CoM running. Also, interestingly, I downloaded the patches and the patches are saying that I do not have a version of LA installed on my system yet i am playing it with no problem. Please help me

Hi Gizmo,
sorry you are having problems. If you have the digital download version of Legion Arena it comes with the patches already nstalled. The patch you downloaded is for the CD version & it did not detect this on yoru PC.
It sounds like CoM did install correctly on your PC. Can you download it and try installing again. The link will be in the purchase confirmation e-mail you received. If this does not help let me know.

Can you send an e-mail to support@slitherine.co.uk and we'll send you a file to get your sorted out. Can you include your purchase code for Legion Arena and CoM in the mail so we can check everything out.
Even if it fails to detect Legion Arena you should still be able to install CoM.

I sent the e-mail yesterday and had a confirmation e-mail sent back to me. I followed the directions of the confirmation and it says the e-mail to support@slitherine.co.uk went through. There has been no response since then. The only information I was unable to locate were my receipt numbers for LA. I did send all the info regarding CoM though. CoM is installed but the shortcut is still not working. Any idea how long it may take for me to hear back?

well, that I don't know.....and sorry if my last reply came off as inpatient. Didn't mean to express it that way. I can tell you this though: I have an icon for loading LA onto the computer that looks like a little box. This produced the icon of what appears to be a brown helm that I use to log on to LA. When I downloaded CoM I got a green helm icon that is supposed to load CoM. Once I downloaded CoM I got what appears to be a faulty icon. It is like a white square with the top right corner folded over with a picture of a windows screen on it and in the bottom left corner is a square with a black slightly angled arrow. I tend to notice you get these when something doesn't load correctly. Anyhoo this is supposed to be the icon that allows me to access CoM. That is about all I can tell you. Hope it helps.

Hi Gizmo, I replied to your mail yesterday just after it arrived. I wanted you to tell me what version number you see in teh top left of the screen when loading. It sounds like the game has failed to install properly. Downloading it again is likely to fix the problem. If not let me know and we'll send you an alternative fix, which is just a bit more complex.
