I'd like to suggest a small change to email notifications for multiplayer games.
At the moment theres no way to determine which game emails are for. With multiple games on the go it would be nice to see which opponent is sending the turn to see if there is a priority to get the turn done soon or let it wait until other turns come in.
Cheers

Re: Multiplayer emails
I can see some players user names via the email notice, some not. I suspect whether the turn notice identifies you or not has to do with your individual settings in your user profile at Slitherine.General Shapur wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2019 1:13 pm I'd like to suggest a small change to email notifications for multiplayer games.

Re: Multiplayer emails
Any idea what or where that setting might be? I only see a setting to enable/disable PBEM notifications, nothing more.

If your logged in , you can click on your user name in the upper right, select "Board Preferences", then "Edit Global Settings" then "User Can Contact me by Email" yes or no....
Im not sure that is what actually what allows some people to see whom sent the turn or not but I suspect it is. You can only test it by having your opponent tell you if set to one or the other if it allows him to see your name in the email notification...
This has come up before but no answer came from Slitherine...

Re: Multiplayer emails
I thought the "Board Preferences" settings only affected the forum software. Maybe someone from Slitherine will answer this time.
