[SOLVED] How to find serial key for registration?

If you (foolishly I suppose) purchase Field of Glory II using Steam, how do you find the serial number? This number is needed to register the game with Slitherine so as to be able to participate in multi-player/tournaments.

I read that Steam actually removed the ability for games to be able to issue 3rd party keys.

steam keys can't be registered on site, but can be played online same as any other key / game

so no it's not a cripped version,

buy from site get a site key, registered on site also gets you a steam key if the game is on steam

buy from steam, your key is a steam key only same as GOG keys and can't be registered on site, but all 3 versions can be played online without issue

You mean in-game log-in? I think I misunderstood you. Of course, you can play MP using Steam version. You just need to log-in with your Slitherine account and you've done. I don't think you need to bother with registering or key.

There is Slitherine forum registration. There is also slitherine Membership registration. There is also Steam registration. And there are Steam keys. There are also serial keys.

I am registered for the forum. I think I am registered for the Membership too, with this same username. The game works on Steam, so is registered there. I don't know how to find the steam key. I don't know where the serial key is, and think I don't have one as it was bought on Steam.

The steam game seems to be unlinked to the slitherine membership account...

Thank you. It is the merge accounts issue that needed to be solved. (One for matrix, one for slitherine) Once that is completed, you can see the option to link game and associate the Steam purchase with Slitherine.
