Flank charges in enclosures

Post by General Shapur »

Can someone clarify.

I have units deployed in an enclosure, however some are still suffering flank charge penalties.

Is the intention for the flank charge benefits to only apply from attacks across the wall depiction - or for units anywhere in an enclosure designated square. I'm not sure if this is whats happening.

Cheers

Enclosure only provides flank security for foot but not mounted. I don't know whether it is the case that your cav suffered flank charge.

Yes. It is the obstacle that provides the flank protection, not the square being labelled as Enclosure. (The latter, however, affects movement through the square),
