Re: BATTLEFIELD EUROPE v1.94:MP - Strategy Guide [AXIS] [Turn 30] - 1942
Loss analysis
Big losses in tanks.
Relatively large in ships.
Though, besides infantry, the trends are positive.
Probably we lose more infantry due to offensive actions in difficult terrain.

Re: BATTLEFIELD EUROPE v1.94:MP - Strategy Guide [AXIS] [Turn 30] - 1942
Very nice. Has the prestige you get a turn changed since you've made some serious conquests?
Re: BATTLEFIELD EUROPE v1.94:MP - Strategy Guide [AXIS] [Turn 30] - 1942
Not yet.
It will increase if I capture oil fields in the Caucasus (one thing I have already captured) and in the Middle East.
Each oil field should give +50 prestige per turn.
But due to the peculiarities of this game, it will bring only +25 prestige per turn (due to the shift of triggers two times less).
Also, to get even this prestige, you need to wait 12 turns in the normal version (and 24 turns in this version of the game are for a full year).
This delay reflects that the Allies will damage the oil fields during the retreat and will have to be repaired.
If the Allies will be able to repel them at least on the one turn, then when you re-capture will again have to wait until they are repaired
But I got a boost of prestige for the capture of Moscow and Malta is 1500-2500 (if I remember correctly).
I think I'll take a week to rest.

Re: BATTLEFIELD EUROPE v1.94:MP - Strategy Guide [AXIS] [Turn 30] - 1942
Wow that's a long time to wait. I understand the reasoning. Wonder if waiting say ten turns and then getting like 5 points per turn and it slowly gores each turn til it reaches 50? I'd like that more, just because that's a long time in a 100 turn game
Re: BATTLEFIELD EUROPE v1.94:MP - Strategy Guide [AXIS] [Turn 30] - 1942
Yes, I like this idea. I love a smoother dynamic change in prestige. And not sharp bonuses.
But in PZC are no reports on prestige and such changes are difficult to control.

Africa
We carry out the transfer of troops.
British recon still accompanies us.
Russia
North
Soviet infantry crossed the border with Finland
She captured the Finnish airfield, but farther they will not pass.
A Finnish Jaeger in Helsinki was bought and blocked their way.
We began the storming of Leningrad.
Our troops on the move broke through the line of defense.
Very good.
The idea of a counterattack near Leningrad does not look good, units lost levels of entrenchment.

Re: BATTLEFIELD EUROPE v1.94:MP - Strategy Guide [AXIS] [Turn 33] - 1942
Northeast
Actions near Gorky were intensified.
Both on the ground and in the air.
The command was very evil, that in the destruction of one Soviet aircraft had to use 5 Luftwaffe Aircraft.
Centre
In the Ulyanovsk, powerful defensive positions of the Soviets were revealed.
A lot of artillery.
Saratov also covers a large number of artillery units on the other side of the Volga.
Crossing the Volga is now even more important.
Stalingrad
Should I wait until the river freezes?
