Saving the Game During Deployment

Is it possible to save the game during the deployment phase? I've never found a way to do this and invariably have to alt-ctrl-delete to get to task manager to kill the game if I need to close it. Am I missing something? If there is no way to save then is there a good reason for that?

You can save during Deployment, the normal way, in SP and MP.

You can save during Force Selection using the Load/Save button at the top of the screen in SP, but not in MP. I don't recall whether there is a valid reason for this, or whether it is an oversight. I will look into it.

OK, thanks. I only ever play MP so I hadn't seen the button in SP.
