Slitherine and Koch Media announce
MILITARY HISTORY™ Commander – Europe at War for Nintendo DS™, PSP™(PlayStation®Portable) and PC

History specialist Slitherine, a leading UK-based independent developer and publisher, and Koch Media, a leading producer and distributor of digital entertainment products, today announced the release of the new title MILITARY HISTORY™ Commander Europe at War for Nintendo DS™, PSP™ and a PC version with new and enhanced features. This is the first release in a new series of games.

MILITARY HISTORY™ Commander Europe at War is a turn-based strategy game set during World War II. Players take command of either the Axis powers or the Allied forces, and make decisions relating to recruitment, reconnaissance and diplomacy.

MILITARY HISTORY™ Commander Europe at War was designed to be easy to play, without being simple to master. The artificial intelligence offers an exciting challenge, even for experienced gamers. And thanks to the clearly arranged, easy-to-use user interface, players will actually spend their time fighting the enemy, rather than struggling with the menus.

Features
• Turn-based battles of World War II across several European countries
• Huge hex grid campaign map
• Six epic, extensive scenarios, including Operation Barbarossa and D-Day
• 50 inventions from five different tech trees
• Recruitment of historical commanders for the player's own units
• In-game artwork by Osprey Publishing, a leading publisher of military history books

Enhanced PC Features
• Addition of six quick play scenarios for multiplayer. Those cover the same time periods
as the original maps but can be played quicker
• Frame rate has been increased
• Updates to the moddable script file system to be more friendly to windows Vista and XP
• Improved AI reacts quickly to players decisions

MILITARY HISTORY™ Commander Europe at War for Nintendo DS™, PSP™(PlayStation®Portable) and PC will be released in the first quarter of this year.

Hey, I've done it, and I'm American, so you shouldn't find have any trouble at all, (unless, of course, you're a Newfie)DSWargamer wrote:Were waaaaaaiting, and clearly I am not having a good time doing it
Hey Ian, is it even possible for a Canadian to buy direct from you guys online in the UK? I've never done something like that before.

We ship worldwide so no problems there. The only issue is that on some consoles (PS2, X360, PS3) the consoles are region specific TV's to deal with and prevent software from other regions playing e.g. NTSC vs PAL. This doesn't effects PC, PSP and DS though as they have no region set in them and have no issue of TV format.

This is good. Amazon UK will not ship it to North America. And, I want the DS version. Are you guys taking pre-orders? The store is fire walled here at school.iainmcneil wrote:We ship worldwide so no problems there. And, how is it that this game is being released before the Rome DS game, which was in production first? Is Black Bean mucking everything up?

March
yeah I missed that detail.
Oh well my B day is in March so I at least don't need a 'reason' to get it hehe.
I recently saw Heavy Armour Brigade on sale on Amazon, nice price. Pity I can't apparently get it from Amazon UK. I like Amazon over all.
But I will gladly buy it right out of the Slitherine store to be honest. Be nice to be able to order the Rome title at the same time.
