Persian Wicker Shields
Anyone know where I can buy 15mm scale rectangular wicker shields used by the Sparabara infantry?
Magister Militum do them but only with the warriors themselves.

I've been informed this morning that they apply their postage charging policy "rigidly"....after trying to buy 8 figures at York when they'd turned up without any figures at all to sell!OldenTired wrote:how flexible are the sellers? 30 pound postage for an 0.18p pack is a little steep.Eques wrote:I'ver ordered some, although they are described as oblong - don't know if this means rectangular or oval.
...so good luck....
PG; May contain swearing Russian roulette bloody violence terror medical and regular gore distress horror (including guinea pigs) fantasy horror with scenes where characters are endangered by food and hard to categorise situations involving penguins.

nope. they told me they would ship anything up to 25pound for a flat rate of 10 pound.Delbruck wrote:That's funny, I thought their shipping charge to the USA was fairly "reasonable".
Out of curiousity, I put 100 wicker shields in their shopping cart (for UK delivery). Cost was 12.00 for the shields and 2.50 pounds for shipping.
waaaay too steep for 48 shields costing something like 5 pound.
might ask for them to cut me some slack...
that, or will scratch-build from something. off to the hardware store for wire mesh i go!
