Possible Army Lists for 7th Century Arab Forces?

I've been interested in trying out an Arab force but the current Arab (City) list doesn't seem particularly capable of fighting the Byzantines and Sassanids as it did late in the 7th century, so I assume the post 633 army would be quite different.

What kinds of units would a later Arab army have? Is this something you're thinking of adding in a DLC or update?

Different ones. I am not at liberty to give details, but they will pretty much follow the classifications in the tabletop FOG "Decline and Fall" army lists.

I personally consider the Arab (City) list as potentially one of the most powerful in the game, it has a mass of cheap heavy foot as well as a likewise large number of cheap lancers - it can cause a lot of headaches for pretty much any army you field against it.

These guys could be a fun unit to include. Elite light foot armoured swordsmen??

Under al-Walid (a shockingly little known general IMO) they seemed to have played a key role in much of the startling success of the Arab Conquests, demoralising the enemy through winning duels with enemy officers but avoiding being sucked too far into enemy arrow fire or envelopment.
