Scrambling Scrambled

Post by jakemon »

The text of the Scrambling Specialization itemizes "Land-based fighter aircraft", but the game effect includes carrier based aircraft (Version 6.19 x64 non-Steam).

Could anyone confirm this is also the state of play for Version 7.14? The contradiction should be reconciled- I favor including carrier based aircraft. Thank you.

Thank you terminator for confirming this bug is present in the current 7.1.4 release. I'd like to see it addressed by simply removing the words "Land-based" from specializations.csv.

I've watched the release process since v248 with some horror: old bugs resurface, and new functionality fails with scenario breaking results. A broken scenario often means an interrupted & broken campaign. I appreciate the skinny development team scrambles (heh!) after each release to repair the product, but complexity has apparently made the problem worse. Hopefully the Bug DB will help.

I've bought all DLCs, but have yet to fire up the last 3 due to showstopper defects I've read about in this forum. My fingers are crossed v7.1.5 will set a new level of quality.

Meanwhile, the previous release is stable for the other 8 DLCs, and the series is very much fun with lots of replayability. Thanks go to you pathfinders, but I'm staying off the bleeding edge...

Agree. Added like that to the BugDB.

I think it will help - in the long run - too, but a "new level of quality".... um ... you know ...

Easy to correct as you suggested
The 7.1.4 version is a stable version without major bug. Problems are essentially in the last DLC Endsieg (Specializations...) but Endsieg is still totally playable.
