Will There Be Khazars & Pechenegs

So far I have not seen Khazar nor Pecheneg armies represented in this game. Will they be represented in an upcoming DLC? Also as an aside I have not seen the Khazars represented in FOG1(though the Pechenegs were). Is/was this a conscious decision by the developers of both iterations of FOG to exclude them? Also tangentially related to this post, can someone inform me how I might create a Khazar army in FOG1(yes, I know I should post this question there, but that part of the forum is as good as dead).

They haven't appeared yet because the current game only covers nations that existed up to 600 AD. The Pechenegs are not known to history until the 8th century AD. The Khazars were (militarily indistiguishable) subjects of the Göktürks until the mid 7th century when they got their own state, so are covered by the current Turkish list until then.

There will be Khazar and Pecheneg lists in the appropriate DLC.

I have no idea why the Khazars did not have their own list in FOG1, which I was not involved with developing. They certainly did in the tabletop version.

To say the truth I remember playing sometimes with the Khazars in FoG1.
They should be in the Decline and Fall DLC under the Western Turkish list that encompasses also Gokturks, Qarlugs, Oghuzz and other peoples.

That was certainly true of the tabletop version. In FOG2, however, Khazars will have their own separate list(s).
