I have been looking this title over a lot. Way more than I should. In fact I think I spend more time looking at new games than playing them. My backlog it pretty extensive as a result. Most games end up in a place where they will never be played as there are too many temptations on the horizon.

I am want to buy this as much to play it, as to support the development of this fantastic piece of work.

My only concern is this may just end up and another title I never get to.

Any idea what the longtem lifecycle looks like for this game? What brings you back to this game? Do most of you out there play multiplayer or just the single player content?

I thought you already bought it, as per this thread in Steam forums (I don't know if you're the same person, but the post certainly is).

The game is totally worth it if you have any interest in ancient and/or medieval history, and its longtem lifecycle is absolutely stellar with all the upcoming DLCs and all the potential 3rd party mods and scenarios.

In the cons, I feel somewhat disappointed about the campaign system, but that shouldn't bother you much if you join multiplayer.

Pike & Shot (previous game by RBodleyScott) is the game I have played most over the past few years, I come back to it again and again! I expect similar for FoG2!
