BWG wheel question

Post by Jaruuk »

Assume a four man (8 bases long) BWG crossbow/heavy weapon BG in Column protecting the left flank with an enemy BG one base width to the left directly in front about 4 inches out. The Bwg passes the CMT and wheels about 2 inches to the right and then 1 inch forward. Does the rest of the BG the swing in behind it immediately? If so you then get to shoot at the enemy and the rear of the BG moved about a foot!

Anyone seen this or have an interpretation of what happens?

A column must kink at the point of the wheel - check the rules section on manoeuvre basics - so the back end does not "kick out".

Does that kinked column then reform in the next movement phase? or does it stay kinked? I have seen guys do it both ways.
