Rather unhelpful reinforcements arrival location

I just fought a campaign (stage 7 of 13) where my reinforcements were due at some point. The map had mountains at the bottom and both lower sides with a small amount of forest between the bottom mountain and the edge of the map.
Unfortunately my reinforcements arrived at the bottom of the map and were then trapped between the mountains and the bottom of the map.
Luckily i did not need them but it may be a condition that could be checked for in future upgrades?

Thanks for the report. We will look into doing something about this, though it is a very rare occurrence, and could perhaps be considered "fortunes of war" - the reinforcements chose a difficult route and could not intervene in the battle.
