Help in Interpreting Score

Post by demyansk »

I played the second tutorial and won.

In the top left of the screen it shows me the score as I am playing the Pyrrhic side

Pyrrhic 22% (-33%)

Carthiginian 55% (+33%)

I looked at the battle results as well on wounded and KIA's

I would think that I would lose the battle since I had a minus 33?

What am I missing by reading the score?

The percentages are percentage of that force that has been routed.
The percentages in the brackets are merely the difference between the two forces, in this instance the Pyrrhic forces have suffered 33% less casualties than the Carthaginian.

It's basically just a quick way (no need to do any maths :D ) to help with figuring out how close the match is to ending with the 40%/+25% victory rule.

Thanks speedy for the response. I usually look at higher numbers as better but not on this one. Good AI in this game

Yes, the AI is very good; at Governor difficulty it tends to beat my ass.

Score-wise, sinply mind the slogan "A Plus (in Red) is Bad."
