Figure identification

Post by hammy »

At the club last night I offered to sort out a load of figures from a player who has decided 15mm is not for him. As a result I have 6 boxes of figures to sort. Most of them are not too bad to identify but there are LOADS (40+ bases) of light foot archers, all the same figure.

I think it is an Essex miniatures figure. It has long floor length robes, a pointy hat with a thick fur rim and is shooting upwards at about 30 degrees. I thought it was an Azab and looking at the Azab range it is close but not quite the same.

Any suggestions or do I need to take a photo to make life easy for everyone?

I previously posted a picture with the Essex archer in the background here: viewtopic.php?t=8525&start=20
Here's a (blurry) better shot I had:

Hammy, I just added a picture to my first post. As to using them, I see Dragon Painting Service sells the Old Glory version as 'Arab Archers'
