FW 190 F missing?

Hello,

having finished the first scenario and starting the second one, I recently noticed that the FW 190 F is missing (meaning the unit does not show up for purchase)?
Didn't notice it from the start, because I imported from my Panzerkrieg core army...

Well first, thanks for your hint.
Second, I don't look for bug descriptions in a thread called "Mistakes vere made, mein Fuhrer - Endsieg Review and Discuss"...
Third, I don't like to mess around with csv files, there should be an official hotfix.

The thread also serves as a reminder for the developers.

please don't get me wrong, I really appreciate your advice and I think it's great that you're offering a solution right now!

The reason why I would like to have an official hotfix is that I don't know which criteria the developers use to set the introduction dates.

For example, for the FW 190 G you suggest the date 1.10.1943 as the introduction date. How do you come up with this date?
Is this confirmed by the developers or estimated by you?
The first machines of the G-series were already produced at the end of 1942, the large-scale production ran from April 1943 to the end of March 1944.
As you can see, there is a certain range of possible dates.

Hence my desire for an official patch/hotfix.

Ah the fw190A is too weak.. Losing strength like mad with the buffed number of allied fighters. Waiting for patch i guess!

P.S. is anyone keeping track to all the bugs in the units.csv? Would help devs I'm sure.

I checked the unit.csv file and everything looks ok with availability dates, only...
- Fw 190 F (incorrectly entered and unnecessary end of service date)
- Fw 190 G (not available)
- British Meteor, Tempest and Typhoon (not available - otherwise bad availability dates, in the wrong format), but these aircraft are "hanging" because they weren't available in Burma DLC

All other dates look proper

Yep, there's a "Current Bugs - Version 7.1.4" thread in tech support.

But to be honest, I'd be more interested how many of the bugs from the "Unit issues 6.1.8" thread with 126 - I repeat one-hundred-twenty-six - posts have really been addressed and fixed.

Don't take it personal, kondi! I just like to play games with official content/patches only- I'm sure there'll be more bug fixes than the 3 lines you suggest, and don't mind waiting for as long as necessary. Btw I did see your fix suggestion but deleting those dates caused issues with all units disappearing.

Don't edit unit.csv file in Excel or OpenOffice
I use the special LibreOffice program, which someone recommended me

I guess i can edit it in notepad but I don't get why it doesn't work through excel as the file is saved as csv so shouldn't lose it's features

I don't get it - why implement a fighter unit if you don't use it or unlock it?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think such units can still be assigned to be obtained from specializations or given as one-off "unique unit" rewards.

Its just a problem with someone doesnt import units from previous campaigns. For me,me410 is good versus fw190-f
