Battle of Britain
Is the BoB mod ever going to get fixed? I really liked playing it. Haven't tried it with 5.3.0 yet but I think update was for other things. BoB is a great mod, please fix it for us?

Try it in 5.3.0. I got it to start just now. I noticed this blurb has changed:

Re: Battle of Britain
robertahyuk, bru is correct. Even though you may have ver5.3.0 (I do)the BoB mod has to be updated also. Hit the Update button at the bottom of Community Content, let it update for BoB and you should be good to gobru888 wrote:Try it in 5.3.0. I got it to start just now. I noticed this blurb has changed:

Re: Battle of Britain
That's a good point, Navman, thanks. Yes that is what I did just now; I had deleted the old buggy version so I went to download a new instance of BoB. Patches do not directly fix a mod like this, apparently, so a fresh download is in order.Navman2854 wrote:robertahyuk, bru is correct. God forbid anybody would tell us this officially, though. We must stumble upon it by trial and error like so many other things around here.

I did download the update from the Members area and it still doesn't work. Tried to download the 2.6 one but it won't accept my password to download that one. Oh well.

If you have problems downloading the update, there's working links here: viewtopic.php?f=264&t=88469robertahyuk wrote: ↑Wed Nov 14, 2018 6:14 pm I did download the update from the Members area and it still doesn't work. (the 2.6GB version is x86 and x64, I suppose, and you'll only need one of those usually)
But the BoB mod doesn't seem to work nonetheless.

I did download both from the Members area but you're right. B.o.B. doesn't work now at all. If I remember right, they had this same problem before. Maybe one of the Mods will see this and have an idea about a patch or something. Like that game!

It's become part of the routine. They'll fix it sooner or later.robertahyuk wrote: ↑Wed Nov 14, 2018 6:55 pm I did download both from the Members area but you're right. Re: Battle of Britain
Every mod needs to be updated when a new version comes out. I did that right now... although it still worked, but without the new stock units and changes available

Re: Battle of Britain
Robert, thanks for the PM. I can confirm that, no, the version of BoB that is available in the Community Crate is not fixed yet. Just so you know, you may have seen, or will see, a remark in the Current Bugs thread that this issue has been "Resolved" but that does not mean the fix is available yet. "Resolved" means, I believe, they found the bug and have fixed it on their end. That is all. To get the fix to the public in a download or compiled in a patch with other fixes probably takes a good deal of time and effort. We must wait for any official notice for more information.
