No Charge After Cavalry

Post by Ludendorf »

For some reason, my infantry just stood still after charging at a unit of cavalry which gave way and evaded. Is this standard behaviour or a bug? I was under the impression the infantry would always pursue some of the way.

Assuming that (as suggested by the position of their dead man) they did not start the turn in the adjacent square to the cavalry, they probably scored -4 AP on the variable movement distance roll when charging evaders, hence did not move further because they had run out of AP.

That would explain it. Sorry, I forgot that infantry could sometimes remain stationary like that.
