time representation mod - possible?

I just want to know if this mod would be possible; I'm not requesting anyone to do it: reckoning passage of the years from the founding of a civilization, rather than BC/AC?

Example in the ancient med scenario, the mod would make the years count up from the founding of Rome.

Another example, in custom games causing the years to add up from year 1.

Ideally it would work for any scenario, whereby the player would choose the start year, and the game would count up from that. There would be no decrement towards 0 BC/1AD.
