Division A is still very much wide open at the moment. NikiforosFokas (Indians) is making the early running with 4 wins from 6 starts, but there are four or five other players sitting in the pack behind him with games in hand, including Sennacherib (Armenians), shawkhan2 (Sassanids), pantherboy (Pictish), rbodleyscott (Hepthalites) and ruskicanuk (Romano-British). harveylh (Indians) has maintained his lead at the top of Division B with a fifth straight victory this week. markwatson360 (Scots-Irish) is second with 4 wins from 5 starts and dkalenda (Sassanids) is third with 3 wins from 4. FightingPoultry (Romano-British) and oscarius (Pictish) share the lead in Division C with 3 straight wins each. Ulysisgrunt (Indians) also has 3 wins but has played 5 matches.

Weekly round-up
Two wins for Snugglebunnies this week sees him move to the top of Division A ahead of klayeckles and Ludendorf. Nijis and ianiow have only lost one match each and may yet feature at the top of the table. In Division B nyczar and IMC share the lead with 4 wins each from 5 matches, ahead of ahuyton and batesmotel.

Unbeaten runs of 3 matches or more
No-one at the moment. I do regard this as the most difficult section of the tournament to prevail in. It is a real test using 9 different armies.

The latest tables and charts have been posted. regarding the situation in Early Middle Ages Division C, I still have not heard from nobbynobbs and he has until 9pm this evening to contact me. I hope to be able to announce replacement by tomorrow if it is necessary to do so. It is the last few days for the group stage matches of the Themed Event and the quarter-final line-up will be announced on Thursday. I will also be releasing the second batch of fixtures for the From Maurya to Alaric section on Thursday too.

Difficult matchup for Gepids. Give credit to paulmcneil for a well planned ambush. However it was only partly successful as I am a little paranoid about large woods.
