SoA Battle Day - 25 April - Bletchley, GB

Dear all

The next Battle Day will take place on Saturday 25 April 2009, at the
usual venue in Bletchley near Milton Keynes

The 2009 battle will be Callinicum 531 AD.
An Eastern Roman (or Byzantine if you prefer) army led by Belisarius
against a Saasanid Persian army.

We will be principally following the Geoffrey Greatrex interpretation
as in "Roma and Persia at War, 502-532"

We aim for the Battle Pack to be produced in the next month.

Shame, I would have tried to attend (Wife's Birthday or not) but not for Sassanids.

Have fun (if you can with Sassanids).
