On my last MP game, I noticed a huge gap between two scorings :
- 1/ the one displayed on the upper left corner of the battlefield, displayed 68% - 45% after my opponent eventually routed
- 2/ on the losses window, the losses are scored : 61%and 20% respectively.
Why do we have this gap ?

Re: Calculation of the final score
The difference is essentially the recovery of the deserted if I recall. This is why we report the last score in the league and not the victory screen scores.

Re: Calculation of the final score
When the game ends, either thru a time out or one side routs , the game is counting the % routed. The very last screen is for flavor and shows # of kills, wounded,Mia etc.

Re: Calculation of the final score
The score in the top left corner is men routed, whereas the score in the final results screen is men lost.
The game assumes that many of the routed men on the winning side will return to their standards, whereas most of those on the losing side won't, and additional men on the losing side may desert or be captured in the pursuit.
Historically Ancient armies lost most of their casualties in the pursuit.
This is mainly important for campaign games, but is reported for non-campaign games for flavour.
