the UI viewer for the units does not work in the global mods? (Photo)

I prefer to use the global mod function for my modifications and I see that the viewer of the units of the UI only shows the units of the vanilla and with the textures of the vanilla. the units with reskin come out with their original textures. in the photo you can see how my new Kushite archers are not taught in the UI panel :|

Armylists are designed to be per-campaign, but I guess we could allow mods to replace the CORE file if it would be useful - but it might be simpler to just put it into a campaign, which would allow it to be used in MP if desired.

I have quickly tested this, and toska is right about the UI pictures. The original texture shows in the UI in the battle selection screen, and in the Force Selection screen UI picture. However, the correct modded texture does show in the UI picture frame during the actual battle. Strangely, I can't see any UI picture at all in toska's screenshot.

As for the ArmyList, I don't think the Global Mod system is designed to do that.

This is from the patch notes when Global Mods were introduced:

"Currently this only allows modded unit textures and squads file, and does not allow modded or new unit models or scripts to be included, so it is of very limited use. We hope to extend its functionality in due course. In the meantime the pre-existing modding system using custom folders will be more useful in most cases as it does allow everything to be modded for that custom module."

This, of course, is the reason why TT Mod and Silk Road are not available as Global Mods. (And even if they were, they would not be available for MP play unless there was also a separate non-global MP module).
