GDod (Arab city) beat IMC (Frank 496-599AD) 62/32

A clear field with slow infantry at the mercy of screaming Bedouin lightly armed cavalry... a perfect storm for poor IMC, but he faced it stoically. He proved to be a slippery adversary that prolonged the match with determined resistance, which caused several worrying developments including a general falling off his horse. Well played IMC, you gave it your all!

The arrows fell like rain but the zealots kept on charging. Like other players, I found that a headlong infantry assault is hard for the Nabataeans to beat.

Weekly round-up
There has been a very interesting start in Division A where Ludendorf (Seleucids) defeated pantherboy (Indians) in the first match, although pantherboy has since responded with two very impressive victories suggesting that massed archer armies can still be lethal if used correctly. klayeckles (Persians) has won his first two matches and hidde (Gallics) has also started with a win. With ruskicanuk (Ptolemaics) in this division as well it promises to be a very competitive contest. In Division B harveylh (Samnites) is currently top with 2 ins from 3 starts and is ahead of Ulysisgrunt (Jewish) who has 2 wins from 4 matches. rbodleyscott (Lysimachids) is third after winning his first match. IMC (Galatians) has won his first two matches in Division C to go top with batesmotel (Seleucids) and Hendricus (Persians) both winning their first matches. Astounding things are happening in Division D where Barrold713 (Romans) has taken the initiative with 3 straight wins. He is being chased by Fighting Poultry (Macedonians) and Tresantes (Pyrrhics).

Nothing report yet in Division A as no results have been received. Whereas in Division B they are already one-third of the way through their matches! Incredible stuff!

harveylh (Jewish Revolt) has taken a clear lead with 4 straight wins and he is being pursued by GDod (Arab, City) who has 3 wins from 5 starts. The only other unbeaten player in the division is Speedy CM (Kingdom of Soissons) who has won his first 2 matches. In Division C jjaquemond (Romans) has started very well with 2 wins and a draw from 3 matches. ggarynorman (Palmyran) and herm (Ostrogoths) have also had winning starts.
