very important question regarding game audio.

I recently installed sound redux mod using generic mod installer and i found out that there are 12 different audio of panzer 4 in movingsfx but in game i try to move and undo my panzer 4 to hear if the 12 different audio is being used, but what I only heared is 2 audio of the tank moving , why is this ? same with the tiger movingSfx only two is working, and is it okay that i will just insert a new audio in the game by renaming it into original file ? i notice that the audio file are 2sec long will it work if i insert 4sec long audio? i need answer ASAP :!:
