Gorrick has withdrawn from the FOG2DL today. It has created vacancies in From Maurya to Alaric A Division, Early Middle Ages A Division and there may also be a vacancy in Group 3 of the Themed Event (I am just checking with the other 3 players to see if any matches have been started). I may be able to cover all these vacancies and I will post further updates as soon as I have them.

Edit: FlawlessCorn42 is standing by to cover the Themed event vacancy. The vacancy in Division A of From Maurya to Alaric has been offered to paulmcneil.

GDod (Arab City) beats beats Ulysisgrunt (Sassanid 477-590AD) 64/40.

City kicked off with certain defeat as Persian united scored goal after goal!. Yet, after half-time and a well-deserved bowl of weetbix, City found new courage and ground down the assault putting the elephants to bed early in a surge of cliches and mixed metaphors. The poor Persian players were robbed of the victory dance as the final whistle blew!
