Hi!

When a unit wins a melee it advances. Why the.. any way to prevent that? What is the reason behind that? Wasn't ancient warfare all about holding the damned line?

It only follows up if it originally charged. If on the defensive it does not follow up.

It was indeed, but that does not mean it was easy to achieve.
