Lines of Control Insufficiently Visible

This new version of the game lines around spaces showing the Axis/Soviet areas of control are too faint to see easily, especially for spaces with woods or varied landscape.

Strangely, they are more conspicuous when the non-activated spaces are darkened at the onset of a combat action.

The previous version made it much easier to see at a quick glance exactly where the lines of control run. I'd appreciate a more visible marking.
