Multiple BGs shooting

Hi All ,
Two groups are shooting at the same target .


One is HArt (say) the other is LF bow (say)

Are the shooting POAs combined at the lowest factors (p.94 top of page ) OR

Throw separately for the different POAs as per the boxed tip p.95 ?

Wait is it when there is an odd number of bases involved from each BG ?

Then if 6 bases of LB arefiring with 6 bases of crossbow ( both are in 2 ranks )shooting at the same close range target , we have 4 LB dice , 4 Crossbow dice and one dice of combined LB/Crossbow at the worst POA ?
