hello, slitherine i need help with this error :





Standart exception thrown.

Gladius has encountered a problem and needs to close.



it happpens every time i play as space marines when i defeat another space marine controlled by ai , also happens randomly when i play as orks .

onetime when this error appeared when i was playing as orks and the game crashed i launched it again and continued the same turn where it suppose crash only this time i changed my units movements to different tiles from the last time , surprisingly it didn't crash during ai turn . but when i play as space marines its inevitable.

without a full report, it's hard to know but a guess would be your not using the correct GPU imo as per link

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.

once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

Besides the DxDiag you need also to attach the log files.

update all drives to the latest and take my advice offered, alter the GPU to use the correct one as per link

and retry and imo disable the share on the other one which isn't used and swap the cable to the GPU to the correct one or you will get a blank screen, 8gb of system ram with 4gb shared to GPU, is lost memory which the windows system would use better,...

i will update the rest of the cards , but as for nvidia after update it told me that it not working so i had to roll it back .

try the Nvidia again, do a driver only install and make it a fresh install, not a upgrade and double make sure it's the correct version for the one you have, it will work, best not to have or load the associated junk which Nvidia tries to install, so drivers only is the best one, then a clean or cleaner profile on launch will help also
