Two Questions

Post by Dorky8 »

1) is "Total War Rome" a fair comparison of the game?

2) Do you have an estimated time when PBEM will be available?

Thanks

Thanks for the link. I know 4X now. Seems quite similar to Total War which was a great game. I guess any strategy game would have similar features.

Any reviews on the game yet?

About the Total War comparisson, I always wished to play Total War but without the real time battles. In that case I found my perfect game in Aggressors. (I was one one the volunteer testers).
However when you compare the campaign map functionallity from Total War with Aggressors game features, you can not really compare it.
Aggressors is really tight to the genre in a more traditional way. Every small step you make, every choice you make influence a lot of aspects of the game on the whole map.
Also in Aggressors the AI players are much more dynamic.

I always played Total War w/o the real time battles, you could turn it off. I'm talking in more of a general sense in the comparison but get your point.

Looking forward to the game.
