1.08 patch from Slitherine work on gog version?

I purchased my game on GOG. Can I use the 1.08 patch from Slitherine for my GOG version of the game?

I doubt it. I like GOG also, for many games, however...for Slitherene/Matrix products I always purchase from their sites.
You get the install like GOG, & many times you receive a Steam Key.
Of course, the updates are also faster per their games vs GOG.

no, the gog version is like steam and has it's own updates,

so site update only work with site version

the steam version has it's own updates,

same with gog version, the patches are not to do all versions, which each one only working from it's own source

Yeah, just checked the GOG site and update still not shown two days after release by Slitherine.

Will purchase future new releases direct from Matrix/Slitherine.

I had a problem with the GOG version because the game dumped me on the desktop
