How to slow down replays/animations?

Post by SirGarnet »

Please, Is there a setting that enables slowing down the movement and combat animations in replay so I can assess in realtime without replaying replays multiple times?

Thanks

If you go into settings and turn "Close Combat Reports" on, the game will show a popup after each close combat and pause while you read it.

Yes I already do that but there is still the flurry of movement, evades, and for me at least having the ressential esults box obscuring the relevant units makes it harder to figure out what is happened and what to do next with the unit. was particularly so with my sea of blue and green tribesmen. Mayvbe I am spoiled by tabletop games where I can see every step in the battle at a pace measured by how quickly players can measure and move their lead..

This gets notably harder as more units appear on table.Did Voltunus in MP successfully but with battle along 3 sides of the Frankish wedge that covered the map orientation was harder and I slipped from keeping track of all my plans into into just shoving lead at the enemy. Fortunately not a bad notion with good barbarians. Certainly winnable as the Franks and still fun. .
