Can’t find my aircraft!

Hello all,
I am replaying OOB Blitzkrieg, and I am having a difficult time locating my Stuka’s and 109’s when they are on the map. Simply, I will send a Stuka or 109 to a target and then get wrapped up in a land battle, and given the various forests and green landscapes of the French, Belgium countryside I have to scan the entire map carefully until I locate the aircraft again. It doesn’t happen all the time, but when I fly that tiny 109 over the right landscape it is nearly invisible.

Any suggestions on how to better manage this.

Force -> Display deployed units -> click on the unit :

If you double-click on the unit in the force-list the map will move to the unit's location.
